For as long as I can remember I've had a camera with me. It makes me happy. It makes me excited. And I love going back to my photos and living those moments again, just for myself.
That became something else entirely when I became a father.
I go back to photos from two or three years ago and realise that if I hadn't taken them, I'd have forgotten. The small things, the firsts. The smiles and the jumps I don't want to forget. Looking at them reminds me how quickly time moves, how fast they grow, and makes me want to pay more attention to the ordinary moments happening right now.
That's what I want to create for other families.
I'm also passionate about cooking. There's something deeply satisfying about taking a few simple ingredients and turning them into a meal, and then watching my family and friends eat it, humming, smiling, being happy. Photography feels the same way to me. A family, a nice location, an ordinary afternoon - and if I do my job right - something comes out of it that a mum and dad will keep coming back to for the rest of their lives.
That's what drives me.
If you like what I do, I'd love to hear from you.
