Global Stories, Local Voices
This series brings to light the lived experiences of individuals on the frontlines of global health, social impact, and community change. From healthcare workers in post-coup Myanmar to pharmacists in rural Kenya tackling antimicrobial resistance, each story is told with care, authenticity, and a deep respect for the people behind the progress.
Antimicrobial Resistance
Filmed on the ground in Kenya, this video was presented at a high-level conference hosted by the UK Department of Health and Social Care, spotlighting efforts to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
I worked closely with doctors and pharmacists to capture their stories with integrity — bringing a human face to a critical global health issue through authentic interviews and natural documentary-style visuals.
UK - Africa Health Summit
Filmed at the UK Africa Health Summit, this highlight video captures a day of dialogue, collaboration, and celebration between UK and African health leaders. From keynote speeches to panel discussions, the film reflects the event’s spirit of partnership and shared vision for strengthening global health systems.
This piece was designed to engage stakeholders and sponsors — weaving together visual storytelling, music, and spoken word to reflect both energy and purpose.
Myanmar Coup Anniversary
Marking the anniversary of the Myanmar coup, this short film was created to honour the resilience of healthcare professionals working under extraordinary pressure.
Education & Research Storytelling
This section brings together video projects created in collaboration with universities and research organisations. My focus is on translating complex topics into clear, engaging narratives — through thoughtful filming, honest interviews, and carefully paced editing.
These pieces are designed to support communication, teaching, and engagement within higher education settings, while keeping the human story at the centre.
UCL Press – Open Access Publishing
This video introduces UCL Press’s open access publishing model — highlighting its impact on knowledge sharing and academic visibility.
I was commissioned to edit the piece, working with chroma key (green screen) interview footage of UCL authors and publishing experts. The goal was to create a clear, engaging, and brand-consistent video that communicates the value of open access in a concise and accessible way.
University college London (UCL)
Commissioned by University College London, this educational video was created to support UCL’s commitment to Open Science and Scholarship — key components of a more transparent and collaborative research culture.
Filmed across campus, the video features interviews with librarians, academics, and research leaders. I was responsible for both filming and editing the final piece, working closely with the UCL Research Culture team to ensure the video aligned with their message and tone.
UCL Teaser
To generate interest ahead of the full video release, we also created a short teaser — offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the filming process and introducing the key voices involved. This upbeat, fast-paced cut was designed for social media and internal comms, setting the tone for the campaign and driving early engagement.
Little Moments, Big Meaning
Stay & Play Café
Filmed during a Halloween event, this short video captures the joy, imagination, and little moments that make family spaces so special. From playful costumes to warm drinks and pumpkin crafts, I focused on the atmosphere parents and kids genuinely enjoy — the kind that feels local, welcoming, and a little bit magical.
My aim with this piece was to blend candid storytelling with soft visuals, highlighting the thoughtful touches that make this stay-and-play café more than just a space — but a place to create memories.
Brentford – More Than a Game
Filmed at Gtech Stadium, this video captures more than just a match — it’s a portrait of loyalty, local pride, and togetherness.
From fans arriving in scarves and smiles to the shared energy inside the stadium, the piece highlights how football becomes a thread that connects generations, neighbours, and strangers. A moment of celebration, tradition, and deep affection for the club — seen not just in the goals, but in the people who show up.
